- Nat Hill Added August 08, 2022★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We didn't stay due to the rude man in the office. We went into the office to see if there were any vacancies and he quoted $30 more than the website price. I told him that I would book it through the website and he said the website price was for one person only?? We asked if we could see the room before we paid and he VERY, VERY RUDLY REPLIED "NO". Never in our lives have we ever been greeted like that in a hospitality environment! We tried the other motel in town and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. We had a look around town and ate dinner at the pub and couldn't fault that either so we were so glad we didn't keep driving after our initial experience at the Jolly Swagman Rudeman Motel.
